Smile Regarding the points and EOI

Hi;

I'm a newbie to this forum!

I have a question.

My husband is going to apply for the 189 for his trade cabinetmaker (3941) and I have a question regarding the points when sending is the EOI.

If he would get 60 points is there a long time to wait for the invitation or since there are almost no one applying as cabinetmaker, would it go faster since he's trade is in demand but only a few apply. Or do all trades end up in the same pile? Do you know what I mean?

When I go online and check the Occupation ceiling for cabinetmaker it's 1568 for year 2016/2017 and only 3 has been granted.

Thanks!

He will not be of advantages because of his trade, regardless of in demand or not. Invitations are issued based on points.

However he will get his invitation the coming round because he meets the criteria of 60 points.

1565/1568 spaces available means everyone who gets 60 points in this occupation will be invited immediately.

So with 60 points there will be no wait with his trade?

By "trade" do you mean his occupation?

There will be no wait for his occupation.

The only occupations what have higher cutoff points are accountants, IT and some engineers.
