Default Dual Nationality Issue.

Hi guys,

Can I get some insight here? Especially if we have some dual nationals here?

If someone is a dual national (British by birth N Pakistan by PR/Descent) and amongst all the 100s of documents ONLY your British passport shows WRONG DOB, (by mistake of the IPS printing authority) - what should be done?

Original dob (in every single document) : 01/04/80
DOB in British passport : 02/04/80

Can't get a new one made as BHC now takes 3-4 months minimum for a renewal.

How to proceed with 189 application then?

It shouldnt be any problem. There is no option to put that info while filling 189 application but in form 80, in question 6 "have you ever had a different date of birth to the one shown at question 1". Just type YES and provide the different DOB. Also, in the end "additional information", provide the reason of different date of birth i-e mistake by IPS. It shouldnt be any issue.

Goodluck
