You need not wait for IELTS results to come as ACS Skills assessment doesn't require English language proficiency test data.

If you have ICT Qualification (Comp.Sci, ECE, Information System, Software System etc) then you can apply through skills route.

If you don't have ICT qualification (EEE, Mech, CA etc) then you have to apply through RPL.

If your brother can sponsor you then the Visa will be 176, If you are applying on your own then it will be 175. However in both the cases the waiting for CO allocation will remain the same which will be 6 months to 1 year.

Good Luck.

Hi Blackjack

I'm in a similar situation where I needed IELTS and ACS certification in ICT Business Analyst. I submitted my ACS application about 2 months back and during that time I Studied for the IELTS because I need 8s to get enough points. By the way I just got certified by ACS as of yesterday.

So definitely submit your ACS sooner than later. I can send you the documents I submitted to give you an idea of what I submitted to get ACS approval.

Maddy are there any concerns with me giving BlackJack my documents ?

Alan.
