Default If I could do it over, I would do <???> differently

As a new member I first want to take a moment to thank everyone who contributes to these forums. The information is absolutely priceless and being able to find such a wealth of information in a single location is such a time saver. Thank you!

Typically when I undertake a big endeavor (such as moving to another country), I find that when the dust has settled I usually reflect on the undertaking and think, "Not too bad, but if I had to do it over again I would do ??????? differently."

So, knowing what you know now, what would you do differently if you had to do it over again? What are the things you brought that you would not do so the next time? What did you not bring that you wish you had? If an employer sponsored your move, is there something that you wish that you had negotiated in your contract? Is there something that you wish you had done immediately on landing? Is there a common scam you wish you had avoided? I wish that I had.......?

Thanks in advance for your responses.
