Leading expat tax preparation service encourages US expats to help protect and promote American interests abroad by taking this survey.

Greenback Expat Tax Services has launched its 2019 US Expat Opinion Survey, open until May 15, 2019, to the nearly 9-million American expats around the world.

Greenback specializes in providing tax services and consulting for 9,300+ US expats living in over 214 countries and territories, and is conducting the survey to find out what expats’ views are on the issues of US taxes, tax reform, citizenship-based taxation, Foreign Bank Accounting Reporting requirements, government representation, citizenship renunciation and more.

“One of the greatest issues brought to light from conducting this annual survey is that the majority of US expats feel their interests are ignored by the US government,” says Carrie McKeegan, Co-Founder of Greenback Expat Tax Services. “When US expats take this survey and share their opinion, the results function as collective and powerful voice for the 9-million expats living abroad. Greenback amplifies that voice by sharing the information with those best positioned to advocate on their behalf. Our focus has always been to protect and promote the interests of Americans living overseas.”

Last year’s survey was filled out by over 3,800 expats, and its findings were consistent with prior years of Greenback survey data: most expats are disappointed by their representation in government, and most do not agree with the current system of taxation. For 2019, this survey explores the political concerns affecting Americans living overseas.

Expats can fill out the survey here . After the survey ends, Greenback will compile the findings to share with journalists and other expat advocates. This information can be obtained by emailing info@greenbacktaxservices.com .

Greenback will also be selecting one lucky survey responder to win a $1,000 Hotels.com gift card in appreciation for the feedback.
