Visas are also required and granted depending on the purpose of visit such as leisure, studies, mass media, business, permanent residency, investment, religious activity, etc. All applications and inquiries should be sent to the Afghan Embassy or Consulate located at the applicant’s country of residence. The basic tourist visa entitles a traveler to thirty days stay in Afghanistan.
