Default The Dogs Boll*cks

A public message to the Frogblogger. I know the answer but first I have got to be sure of its present day existence.

I recently took a four day break in Pattaya, my old stomping ground. I didn't get the chance or perhaps the truth is I decided to give Soi Yamato a miss. I now regret that because I want to know if Pattaya's most famous bar is still alive and kicking, The Dog's Bollocks. The bar is in my opinion the most famous falang bar in Thailand but is it still open or shut. A friend of mine was in Pattaya last Christmas and he said the shutters were up (maybe just the one day he went there) and I'm asking you Pattaya expats is the Dogs Bollocks still there. I'd appreciate your answer.

Silk,

Do you frequent bars of repute?

By the way, I've got to ask. What's with the feline avatar? I thought you were a straight shooting canine aficianado! Are you two-timing your girls?

Thanks Pete and that answers the question. If closed means gone forever the I would guess the Dogs Bollocks boys have or will be moving on to Vietnam or Cambodia as the lights have gone out in Pattaya. Beats working for a living.

The Dog's Bollocks is very much alive and well.I was there last night and have been on numerous occasions in the last 3 weeks.Ihave found it to be a friendly and busy bar with a landlord who makes every effort to make you feel welcome and included.

Mick1943 - Thanks for the good news, it's nice to hear the institution is alive and kicking.
