My best friend is 40 years my senior and we have coffee at my work place once a week but I would really like to meet some people closer to my age with children for activities but in the 5 years I have lived here that hasn't happened.
Hi Chris,

I'll be up in CM from next week on, but will be very busy for a few weeks. I can't be 40 years your senior as I'm not 40 yet (getting there though!). I have two little princesses (8 and 10). I'm up for a coffee and yum-yums one day if you fancy a chat. What ages are your nippers?

I'm 42... but according to my wife I am amused by that which amuses a 13 year old boy. My daughters are 8 and 1 year 8 months. I'm generally free on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, Sundays I work until 11:30 so let me know what is good for you. I haven't figured this forum out quite yet but let me know what day and time is good for you and I will PM you my phone number.

Hi Chris, I wasn't ignoring you, we are moving and between internet connections (and houses for that ). I will be busy until after the 28th due to the move and family visiters, but any day between school runs is fine with me. A Saturday may be good as I can bring my girls and they can meet up too.

Cheers, KL

Sounds good to me. I haven't figured this forum out yet and I can't seem to find the "private message" feature if it does have one, if I manage to find it I will send you my number.

JustChris,

Just "click" on the handle of who you want to send a PM to and the option will pop up. PM's to you should come in on your e-mail. My bill's in the mail!

I think FB will agree Guitarman has to be our CM haunt - good fare (cheap to boot), good beer, excellent music that doesn't kill the conversation dead, central, buzzing and friendly staff and musicians/owner - what more could you want.

They were in evidence too - and a bar across the street is well 'manned' too - but just eye candy as far as we were concerned last night as we were all chatting all night.
