I'll put your post into the Jobs section on here and keep my fingers crossed for you! We're in the same position. We moved out in Feb 08 and my OH is still commuting back and forth! Not easy is it. Emotionally draining if nothing else!!

Tell me about it, mine are older 12 and 14! So mine are quite difficult without dad here, I feel like a single parent most of the time. Socially its hard when everyones got their husbands with them. Dunno about you but we always have, what we affectionately call the "airport run row" When I pick my OH up (which I've just done) we always start off by having a heated conversation about how difficult it is for each other and how hard done by we are lol!

Anyway, I hope you get something - not easy tho, I'm trying to think of builders etc I know, (cos you're not that far from me) but the only one I do know is struggling too, altho when he does have extra work he tends to go to a local british bar and the out of work men in there all rush at him as he walks in!!

I think we've moved out here at the wrong time havent we, altho I wouldnt ever want to go back!!

Good luck
