can you tell me if OH has contract of work do we still need to obtain an E106 form?

He's paying into the Spanish Health system?
Chris can confirm probably but afaik you still need to have the E106 to register from what previous employed posters have said elsewhere

Gosh - I'll have to ask to be sure. When I first came I acquired immediate cover by relationship of marriage.

yes OH will be paying into the spanish health system.

I wont see our SS guy until next week now. He was due in today but did not appear.

Self employed or salaried? - If the latter take it up with the employer, see what they say.

If self employed he'll be registering as such with the SS and should make sure he gets his SS number and cards for him and dependants. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR DOCTOR IS. VISIT THE SURGERY AND MAKE SURE.

It cant HURT to bring the E106 JUST IN CASE THOUGH. I would, and did take its predecessor for safety when I moved from the UK to Germany despite being salaried.

I'm a believer in safety nets!
