Default How to let my house in Mijas Costa

Hello All,

Can anyone advise on the best way to let out my house? I'm hoping for long-term lets, i have a beautiful 3 bed house in Puebla Aida, Mijas Costa which benefits from numerous swimming pools, a golf course and being close to the town and beach.

I have dabbled with letting it for summer holidays and am now looking to extend this to longer term, however i'm unsure the best way to advertise it (also the most cost effective!).

Your advice would be much appreciated,

Thanks

Jenny

How I see it, you have 2 possible options.

1) Put your property in the hands of an agent, who will of course charge a fee and thus you will receive a smaller amount of rental

or

2) Advertise yourself on the Internet, stipulating there will be no agency fees to pay and that should attract a whole bunch of potential tennants

Websites you could do this, for example

idealista
fotocasa
ivive

Contracts are normally 11 months in Andalucia, with the option of renewal

Your Villa looks very nice, the photos are good.

Does your Villa have an ADSL Internet Connection, if yes then I may know someone who is interested in renting your place for a week, next June

As for long term rental, that much depends on how long we are talking about, but if you are thinking of say an 11 month rental, then 1000 Euros a month would seem about 150 Euros a month too high, despite your Villa being very nice - lol

I just re-read your post and you actually say 1000 pounds a month,
which is definitely too high, but you never know, there is a new one born every minute so they say - lol

1000 Euros is pushing it, never mind pounds

Smile Long term rental

I have a lovely villa in the village of Tolox. Just 45 mins from Malaga, Marbella and the Costa del Sol. I am looking to rent monthly and is available from 15th September. I have a web site you can look at if you like. Have sent you a message via msn and will be online tonight.
