There is mass unemployment in Spain, but you may be lucky???

You need to have a look on some of the spanish job sites or google your requirements. You will have to be fluent in both written ans spoken spanish. I'm not sure if your qualifications are transferable tho

Check out the big private medical company sites. Axa, Bupa etc., working in Spain.

You could get lucky.

Social Security are a completely different ball of wax with exams within the system for "Funcionario" posts (civil servants) and a must for homologised qualifications. Even with the private companies you may need to formalise your qualifications in Spain, but if you get to see one of these, they might help with the process if they need your skills.

As JoJo says, unemployment is very high and unless you can fly one of the latest machines and operate and even train others, you might find it's very tough getting a job.

Good luck.

I've tried the British/international health insurance companies and they all insisted that I speak and write in Spanish!!? Mind you I'm in a different profession of healthcare - nursing and patient care

Completely agree JoJo. Ref my statement "If you can fly the latest equipment..." etc., wouldn't be able to teach others, for example, without fluent Spanish. Yes, a must.
