Default Some People Say......

......you can't get anything done in Spain!

Well tonight I called into Razor Ramon's for a haircut at 7.15 (with no appointment) and left ten minutes later with my hair done! Cost 7 Euros!

7.30pm I took the wife into the dentist (I made the appointment at 1pm) because ger crown had fallen out. We left ten minutes later with her crown repaired and refitted. Cost 10 Euros.

So within 30 minutes we'd got a haircut and dental work done for the princely sum of 17 Euros.

Can't get nothing done in Spain?

You can......if you've been totally accepted! If you're not, then it's always going to be an uphill battle!

And remember......to be accepted is not a decision the Spanish make.....it's a decision that you make for them!

You did well there EXtreme! It sounds like your philosophy is along the lines of "I'm OK, your OK."

I always find if I'm pleasant and resectful, I always get things done. It tends to be the grumpy, demanding brits who have a struggle. Its common sense really, if you're nice to people, generally they'll be nice back and if you're not, well, neither will they be and the Spanish tend to be far more open about what they think of you!!!!

That's what I call service!
My sister came to visit, her tooth got infected, we went to my dentist, she was seen immediatly and they DIDN'T charge her!!
She got better service than I do!!

One thing I would add is if anybody does come to this town, you need to be aware of Razor Ramon.

He is an excellent barber.....however he only knows one hairstyle.....and whatever you ask for, you're only going to get that one look.

Razored! Brutally! And you usually leave bleeding!

Thankfully I had mine done today too - Mario has 35 years experience and he is an excellent barber.....however he only knows one hairstyle.....and whatever you ask for, you're only going to get that one look. Razored! Brutally! And you usually leave bleeding! Today I was lucky - think he had sharpened his razor just before I came.

Are they all the same?
