Tax whilst in UK

Hi all

From January I will be working for a Spanish company but will remain in UK till June.

Until I move to Spain do I pay tax and NI in the UK or will they deduct it at source in Spain?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hiya,

Much depends on your contract of employment, why don't you ask your employer !

My guess is that you will pay NI and tax at the Spanish rate, but its a guess - lol

Despite the lol (remember this is quite a scary move for some people and we do want to make sure we do things right) regardless of what Spanish company say I just wanted to check that I wasn't doing anything wrong in the UK ie getting paid from spain and paying social security and tax even though I am living in the UK

I can't imagine it's thats simple but despite the sarcasm I must thank you for your post as it is the only reply I have received.
