Default Apartment Furnishing Murcia

Hi all, we are about to purchase an unfurnished apartment in the Murcia area. Can anyone give some advice on going about getting it furnished, shops / companies etc.

Hi stebutty,
It will depend where in Murcia you live, we bought our first place near Los Alcazeres in 2004, our agent at the time took us to a place in Torrevieja, called TorreHogar to choose our furniture, I have attached details of address and telephone number. When we went there ---a looong time ago, this shop had five huge floors of furniture to choose from, to suit any pocket, they did complete house/apartment packages to cover 'white goods' as well, even knives and forks and a can opener included, if you wanted to 'go that way', or choose individual furniture for each room.
We chose from them, and they had no problem delivering to our house, they even fitted all the light fittings, fitted cabinets to walls etc.
I would suggest, if you were interested, to phone the number and check out the address, to see if they are still at the premises, it is a long time since we used them, and of course there has been a recession which could have effected them, I hope not! because they were really excellent.
TORREHOGAR, S.L.

there is also a large shopping centre near Pinitar,I think it is called Dos Mares, which had some furniture shops inside, last time I saw it.
