Default Student in Spain with external part-time income

Hi All,

I am an Indian living in Denmark and I will be moving to Barcelona on a student visa to start my MBA at IESE Business School. It's a full time course.

My current firm in Copenhagen has asked me whether I'd like to continue working for them. I estimate the work to be around 10 to 15 hours a month and expected income to be €1000 to €1500. I am an SAP consultant and will be (hopefully) paid a scandinavian market rate. This will basically take care of my living expenses during the full-time course. I will have no other source of income.

I am wondering about what's the best way to do this. Should I register as an Autonomo or should I start a one person consulting company? I have never done freelancing work before let alone in Spain and hence I am looking for advice from people who have.

I'd appreciate if you can guide me in the right direction.
Thanks a lot.

- P.
