Default Dont know where to start

Hi everyone.
This is going to sound a bit wishy washy but Simon and I have discussed movig to Spain for a long time and now feel this is the right time to start making plans.

Simon is a technical manager in a heating company (go figure!) but is looking into doing courses in Air Conditioning / Solar heating in order to continue his career.

I am a part time heating engineer and i'm doing an assessors course to train CORGI engineers which i should complete within 8 months. I have also commenced a p/t maths degree and have tutored privately for many years in Science and maths.

We have both started a Spanish course and have discussed private tuition with our lecturer when we feel we have reached a suitable standard to commence intensive study.

We're not planning to move out in the very near future unless Simon gets an offer he can't refuse workwise. We can therefore allow ourselves to get prepared as we also have a 17mth old daughter! (we have the Tweenies in Spanish for her!)

My mom and dad live out in Spain most of the time in a nispero farm in the mountains about 1.5 hrs from Benidorm. There are only two other couples there who are English and my dad especially has settled in very well with the local spanish community.

Simon goes out to Algodonales twice a year to paraglide and loves that area. However we need to move where the main industries are.

Would anyone be able to tell us where you would advise us to go and also what kind of TEFL course I would require if I could not continue work as an engineer?

Are there any employment agencies that cater for ex-pats?

Any initial advice would be greatly appreciated

Nicole x
