Talking Money transfer

Evening all

I'm sitting here listening to the rain on the window thinking about the best way forward.

I will continue to be working for a UK company and being paid in £ into a UK account. I will obviously need to transfer this money on a regular basis into my Spanish account. I don't think (correct me if I'm wrong) but I don't think you can set up a UK standing order to an international account. Will I have to go to the Santander in Spain (or call them) to transfer if every month and incur there costs and possibly unfavourable exchange rate.

Anyone else in a similar position?

You could open an account with an offshore bank. You can hold accounts in several currencies.
Don't use LloydsTSB offshore, though.....

That sounds like a scary thought! Just had a quick google and worth a phone call I think. Thank you. Whats wrong with Lloyds?

Why not just set up a regular trade with a currency exchange broker ?
