We had a telefonica phone line already connected while we used our home as a 'holiday home', so already had an account, when we spent more time there we phoned telefonica to have the internet connected. We were sent a router within 3 days, connected it up and it worked.
If you need to phone telefonica the number you contact them on in English is 1004,.
