The poor boy is not in good condition.
So survived the night then and any food is better than no food.....did he just miss the box or was it some distance away as one of my cats sometimes used to go into tray then stick his bum over the side for some strange reason. but lets hope it's onwards and upwards now for Armand...bless him

If he missed he missed by about 10 ft...

I have had him in a box with a hotwater bottle and now have just returned from spending 400 pounds on him. I have bought kitten formula that he doesn't like nor does the other one

If he has been living the rough life he probably not used to that type of food so unfortunately it's going to be a bit of trial and error,so why not try him on either fish or chicken and rice and then introduce the kitten food slowly by mixing it into whatever he will eat and slowly increase the amount..
They are probably both going to be a bit off their food for awhile....Pimpernel because you have brought another cat in and Armand because he has not settled in yet and also not well i think.....keep up the TLC and hopefully all will come good. Anyway you are doing a wonderfull job by taking these cats on so keep up the good work.

He is very ill and seems to have a problem swallowing now plus he has a cold, the good news is he is going to the vets in the next hour.

Armand is still alive and kicking,, almost bald because of his ringworm but he is much stronger and walks around, he also came into the sitting room this morning to visit me.

I recieved another cat last night.. Snowy who must weight 5 kilos!!! so big fight under my bed between him and pimpernel and to be fair to pim it is not him he wants a friend..

I have a problem with Armand... he does the toilet where ever he wants, he will use the litter tray and then the next time he will just go in the middle of the floor.. any suggestions bearing in mind he is an ill cat.

He has a problem with his back legs so could be that it is just to much of an effort sometimes to lift his legs to get into litter tray...try something with very low sides...or if he sharing a litter tray he may prefer one of his own.

Just had another thought...some cats are very fastidious and wont use a tray that has been soiled so try removing any dirt from the tray or if it's just wee you can usually shake litter to one end and remove the wet bit as it will clump together.
