I can't get warm.. I have the heating on full blast.. I am wearing a cashmere twin set.. trousers and arran kitted sock things on my feet. I was out for coffee in Maadi this morning and sat shivering outside wearing a fur lined coat. I think the cats might be sharing my bed tonight.

I have never before worn so many layers as I am doing this winter, and still no good. I don't have pets but seriously considering bringing a strait upstairs tonight

lol you can actually buy them here.

I used to wear them all winter (not the same pair) when I kept horses.. they really are the best thing to wear to keep out the cold.

It's the humidity that is making it cold

Believe it or not it's cold here in Sharm down to about 12 cel but the wind carries a bite

I have family in Canada, in some parts it went down to -31 to -38 cel over the last few days so we have it much better

I used to ski in Canada and was there the year it went down to -36, the diesel froze in trucks, the coach we used to go shopping had a loo and that actually had ice all over it despite the heating on in the coach but I was never cold because you are dressed for it.. being cold in Canada is irrelevant to us being cold here
