Howdy folks,

Looks like I'll be moving to the UAE sometime in the next two months or so. I'm a nuclear engineer from USA on my way out there to help the regulator authority build some great new nuclear reactors!

I'm your traditional geek from TV (thing Leonard, not Sheldon), but unlike many of my colleagues I have a thirst for adventure!

Alright all,

I am a 31 year old from the UK, pretty social and up for a laugh, looking for new friends in Dubai.

From the UK and working here as a teacher.

I work in a really small school with no other expats my age, so I was hping to meet others on my wavelength for beers and stuff

Would be cool to hear back from some sound likeminded people

I'm from Rochdale mate. Came to Dubai due to a job opportunity but also for a better standard of living. While in Dubai though, I want to make the most of it.

Sounds like you're in a similar situation to myself, we should meet up for a few beers?
