I read in the main forum a post about a guy having to work a western week and concerned about time zones. So what excuses have any of you used for failure of performance due to being on the lash and conflicting time zones eg 14.00 Friday brunch UK client calls.

My own genuine excuses

I am sorry sir I couldn't take your call yesterday I was engaged with an international delegation my office didn't inform you.

At what time you call me I only have one call at that time from a private No. I get so many calls from invest companies as private number so I do not pick please leave an answer phone message and I will call you back.

You sent me an email sir you are aware we are based in an Islamic country and emails are filtered please resend.

Classic it's a religious holiday

Dubai is a third world country (LOL) it's not easy to receive calls or emails

I am sorry I got air conditioning flu so I can't attend the meeting

I thought our meeting was next week I cannot possibly come today I have other commitments
