Ajman is very close to Dubai. (15 min's without traffic, and 1.5 hour with traffic). Ajman is quite place to live, though there isn't much western people living there.
There's a big difference between Ajman life style (more conservative) and Dubai life style (open life style).

I hope you will enjoy your stay here.
Good Luck!

Most of the expats come to work in Dubai.

As EK said, Ajman is a little bit of a sleepy town with few western expats. You will save alot of money on accommodation. I mean alot. But you will need to get out for the weekends. Come out some nights in Dubai and you'll get to know some people. Here and internations.org both have great people and meetings. Depending on what you're looking for.
Cheers!

Hi,

My name is Samantha, I am 34 years old and I have recently relocated from Australia. I have three beautiful children aged 6, 4 and 2. My eldest children will be starting school on the 4th September and my baby and I will be looking for some social interaction.

We are currently living in The Villa which is situated very close to Silicon Oasis where my children will be attending school.

I am friendly and outgoing and missing my friendships from home so eager to make some new ones in Dubai.

Please feel free to contact me

Hi,

I've recently moved to Dubai from India. Its kinda wierd that I find myself posting on a forum but I guess thats a good start to get to know more people.

Anyone interested in going for a round of golf at the montgomery golf club can give me a shout. Else, if you just wanna grab a drink, that's cool as well.

Look forward to connecting with likeminded folks.

Cheers

Hello everybody I'm John and I arrived here from the US by way of California earlier this month. I'll be bouncing around this blue sphere quite a bit until October but I'm very interested in getting into anything on or under the water around here. I'm very open to fun ideas on dry land as well.
Feel free to contact and stay cool!
