Of course not done yet he waits for me to catch up so he can start again and when I pull onto the shoulder he does the same and starts backing up. maybe I should be happy they don't have guns here.

Oh I think what I did was not get out of the way when I was only going about 125 because there was a car in front of me passing someone (that I obviously was not tailgating enough)

I love it here!
I've started to genuinely think that some of the people I encounter on a daily basis belong to a genetic sub-species. Like the person you just described.

According to some paper I've read it seems like in-breeding is an acceptable and often preferred social structure for some populations, and this can accentuate genetic disorders: bipolar disorder being on top of the list.

Also the reason why autism awareness and charities are quite prominent.

Don't know if it has been said already or not...

People waiting on elevators... wait till I get off before you try to jump in. Irritates the hell out of me...
Lack of common sense.... I saw a girl buy a etisalat recharge card and the checkout guy asks her if she needs a bag. For a recharge card? wtf?

Same on the metro, but I think that has been mentioned before.

********s who come to an abrupt halt on the middle of the bridge to Palm Jumeirah because they want to look at the view of the Burj Al Arab and to hell with anyone unfortunate enough to be driving behind them boil my piss.

The local *recycling* point

3 large cesspits dug into the ground.

One for Paper: Filled with cardboard, polystyrene and a bike.
One for glass: Filled with wine bottles.......in carboard boxes.
One for plastics and cans: Filled with any old junk - including wicker garden chairs.
