I'd forgotten about the mental disability part, oddball. I wonder if that would apply to your son? I presume you plan to spend the winter months in Cuba?

Hi Sylvia. Yes, ideally that would be the plan. I'm seeking official advice so i'll let you know what the outcome is!

It may be that we're all off to Havana.. J said he would come to the UK if us living there wasn't viable, so we'll just have to see what happens..and yes, its a similar disability, my son has autism. The school in Miramar caters for that too, so its not just a school for foreigners.

Hi, I am sorry to say this, but really, if you plan to upsticks to sunnier climes with your children, which I fully appreciate !
You really should not be entitled to any benefits from UK tax payers !

I am not saying you are not due these benefits, you obviously are, I don't doubt it, but if it's payed here, you should have to stay here or lose them !
I mean you are talking about keeping your house, of which you are in reciept of housing benefits, come on !........you will cause a war !
I think the majority of tax payers would agree with that.
