i made some investigation...
to work here u need a work permit, investigate how to get one with your embassy.

about the better season to get work, i dont know a lot about that, since im a civil engineer and we dont have work season

Maybe you should try the british territories like Caiman or the British virgin Island, Turks and Caicos or Anguilla, If you're a british citizen it should not be difficult to get a work permit. Usually it is the employer who provide the work permit. Good luck

That would really be your best bet as far as working legally.
