Default Panama

Thinking about retiring abroad? then you must consider Panama, why? I bet you have at least 100 questions ask me whatever you want? I came to Panama 10 years ago to visit my mothers side of the family , i knew then that this country was a gem, now and days any one who visits this paradise see it as a diamond. Ask me what ever you would like about panama from the beaches to the mountains and back to a modern metropolis I know this country inside out , my city Panama I would love to tell you about it and who know´s perhaps one day you might call it home.

Few Facts about Panama

Modern Maturity magazine (the AARP magazine with the largest circulation of any consumer magazine in the world – upward of 20 million subscribers) recently rated Boquete as the fourth-best retirement destination in the world.

International Living's Global Retirement Index 2005 rated Panama as the #1 best place in the world to retire.

Fortune magazine's 2005 Retirement Guide chose Boquete as one of the five best places in the world to retire.
Political Risk Services named Panama one of the top three countries in the hemisphere for best-risk investments.

According to The Fraser Institute in Canada, Panama is at the top of the list of the world's freest economies, ranked eighth with Australia, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.

I don´t have anything to sell to you, except if you take enthusiasm for a beautiful city the wrong way. When I went to Spain 2 years ago I would have love to know somebody to tell me everything that I needed to know, without any B.S. just give it to me straight.

Yeah you right this guy must be a Sale Associate or he must have lots of money and lots of family over there. Anyway I am not saying for any chance that is a bad country, what I do believe is that the magic disappear once you become a resident and have to deal with local to find a job or any source of income. Rather to talk about Mountains and beaches and diamonds can you mentions jobs option? I believe that our generation (New Boomers) where the World is going will never be able to retire.
Anyway I will go to panama for a nice weekend

Having recently returned home after four months' journey through Ecuador, Panama and Costa Rica and concluded that Ecuador had the most pleasant people and as beautiful scenery. Bouqute was too cool for us ..... and we are from Norway! Was perhaps unlucky with the weather the few days we were there. Ecuador was also much cheaper. There you can live for 500 dollars per month, as lords for 1000 according to an immigrant from Sweden who had lived there for three years.

Hi Dave, Specifically Boquete, Is the temp really between 70 & 80 ?
And how about humidity ? I noticed in there ads for homes a lot have huge
water storage tanks out side. What is the reason for that ? I heard the water is really clean there. Also What about taxes on your home after the 20
yrs run out ? One more if u don't mind Hows expensive is health insurance ?
Hey thnx soo much!! Mike
