vaf4 spouse visa applied for exsemption of financial requirement

Hi there I am hoping you can help me I am from the uk and my husband is from Morocco we married in april and we applied online for his spouse visa on the 28th of june but never paid the fee untill the 16th of july because that was the first appointment we could get so we come under the new rules and had to fill all the new forms in We have applied for exsemption of the financial requirement as I am a carer for my son with a disability in the uk and I am also in recipept of dla and carers allowance , we had to fill in the new forms and fax them back to them again and we are currently waiting a decision does anyone know anything about the exsemption of the financial requirement ? I am feeling terrible anxiety as I really need my husband here to help with my situation I have spoke to my Mp and he seems to think we will be ok but any advice would be greatly appreciated Many Many Thanks
