Going to GOA for the winter...

Planning a winter trip from Manchester, UK to Goa, India.
Leaving early Jan, 2009 for 6 or 8 weeks.
I'm well traveled but never been to India.
My money is limted to say £50 a day.
Would that be enough?
What sort of rent price (one person) would I have to pay (nothing fancy mine).
Besides my credit cards, do I bring £ Sterling or change to rupees.

Got lots and lots of questions.....anybody know of any websites for info.

The money all depends on how you want to live. You can get money from ATMs, so bring your card and the four-digit pin. You'll need cash initially, so bring some pounds with you.
