Moving to Malta

Hello fellow expats!

I hope you are doing well, I am thinking of moving to Malta, I have never been but throughout extensive research I found that place charming and has good things about the country. such as free education and healthcare...

I am wondering from someone's point of view who perhaps lives there and preferably if they moved out of UK how it is?? Is it quite hard to find a job there?? and cost of living is it manageable?? I am planning to move there next september, I have a degree in fine art, but I have been working in financial sector for almost year and a half and speak 2 languages fluently ( Czech and English) I am british...I am not really fussed about what I do just as long as its legal and I can survive lol.

Any suggestions - advice and all round is appreciated.

Hi Flo, I am a new user and just found your post. I am very happy I moved to Malta. Nothing is perfect but I've made a lot of friends and it's still cheaper to live than uk. Jobs are not that easy for expats to find but the financial sector is a growth industry here, so you may be luckier than most. Best of all, there is a guaranteed summer, with lots of evenings on the beach! If you have any other questions I will try to answer them.
