Default Belgian healthcare?

Hello,
Can anyone tell me more about healthcare insurance in Belgium?
I'm international student in Brussel.
I'd like to know more about how to reach psychiatrist or how to have psychotherapy sessions.
Are they covered by insurance?

thanks

What kind of insurance do you have? Is it a private insurance? Or just a regular one, like the Belgians themselves are having? (although they can top up with private insurance too)

Don't know if your specific insurance covers psychiatrists or psychologists. You should ask them.

For Belgians, national health insurance covers psychiatrists, but not psychologists. Although Belgians are able to get a kind of 'at cost' therapy with psychologists through organisations as CAW (Centrum voor Algemeen Welzijn), but their waiting lists are easily 6-12 months...
