Wink American Manager looking for Job In Philippines

I am gradually making my way over to the Philippines. I have been in Management in Automotive and Semicondutor. Still young early 40's. I am planning to do some Non-Profit Work there soon. I just thought working there for a year or two would be great. I would be staying in the area of Zucat Paranaque'

Any leads would be great.

You can visit Jobstreet (I still can't leave a link since I'm new here). Filipinos use that site to look for jobs. Just do specific searches, besides, the site is very easy to use.

Hi, I'm a Chinese and right now working as a real estate agent in Cebu City. I also have an American friend whose name is Steve stay in Cebu City. He was a mechanic before in the U.S. and right now building webisites and do SEO for the websites for resort owners or real estate developers, or store owners. He was now part-time teaching deaf children in Bohol. Another American opened a charity school for the deaf kids. You may check International Deaf Education Association, Philippines, it's the website. I'm sure that you will have a lot of common topics to discuss and share. Good Luck to you!

Hello I own a Real Estate company in Cebu City, If we can be of any help to you in the future please get in touch, I have a large group of friends here, whom are in all types of employment and so could be helpful in pointing you in the right direction in your search for work, I realize you are not planning on coming to Cebu, but I can highly recommend this City.
The expat community is tighter here, the city is much less crowded and there is more of what you would expect in terms of Pacific Island living going on in this part of the Philippines. All that being said, Cebu is becoming a prosperous and sophisticated Industrial / Commercial city as well. You might find that it is the right recipe for the Philippines.

Are you from America? If so how did you manage to open your own real estate company there? Are you married to a native Filipino? Or were you already there from a previous job?

My Name is Bill and I am from Chicago. I would like to teach or work with Mainframe COBOL in the Philippines. I worked 34 years as a Mainframe COBOL programmer. I know I can teach Filipino students COBOL which should help them get a job in India or Singapore. Anyone out there who can assist I would appreciate any help. I have also taught English to illegal mexicans in Joliet and taught Drama in Florida. I am a published writer and want to live and write in the Philippines with my 5 year old son who is half Filipino. I want him to grow up there. I am 2 1/2 years from retirement, but want him there now since he is starting school soon. I am open to suggestions. Will live anywhere but Mindanao. thanks
