The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo - once the southern European headquarters of the Knight Templars, is around 20 minutes drive from the house. Tomar is a popular town with schools, university, museums, library, art galleries, shops, restaurants and bus and train stations.


The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a half hours' by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom.
