Thanks for the valuable information. I was thinking of looking for accommodation in suburbs where Indians live. Now after reading , it seems its better to avoid such areas.

Ha ha, a thread advising Indians against living around other Indians.

Choose your place based on your budget, location, schools, transport etc, not based on some random threads containing a few individuals anecdotal account of their experience.

You have good and bad experience around people of every nationality/ethnicity.

Default How about real estate agents

Had bad experience when dealing with Indian real estate agents in Singapore; Professionalism between Indian agents and others is un-comparable. In the first year I entered rental-lease through Chinese agent, their approach, timeliness was awesome.
For next years new Bangladeshi landlord referred through Indian agent; In a way he looted agent fee for 3rd to 4th year renewal also. Later I came to know other agents are charging for that.

BTW rental was also not cheap and nothing he spoke on the behalf of tenant.

Guys have any such experience in OZ too

We had sucking experience in Melb with Chinese agent.
Had awesome experience with Vietnamese.

It doesn't matter which nationality the agent is from when they are crooks
