I will be living in Paranaque. Like most retirees I am a little concered about keeping occupied. I have no doubt that I will be fine, but having said that. I am an avid racquetball player, I have been searching Hi and Low for racquetball there in the Manila area, so far with no success. On our last trip I visited Nomads athletic club, they have SQUASH courts which is sort of like racqetball but was told there are few players around.

QUESTION: Does anyone know of and active racquetball or squash center in the Manila area?

SECOND DREAM: I also love to sail, I checked out the price of small (20-25 foot) sail boats and I think I could swing the cost. However the only place I found slip space close buy was the Manila Yaught Club. Member ship is exobinate. I also checked out Cavite, but didnt see a place to store boats in the water. Subic has a nice club, but is too far away. Lake Taal has boats but they are usually cats from what i saw and is pretty far.

QUESTION: Does anyone know of a place to keep sail boats in Metro area that I missed?

I guess i could store a boat on a trailer someplace secure, but that takes away the fun of just jumping in the car and going for a quick sail.

Manila Yacht club is worth every cent if affordable for you. Excellent security and membership benefits. There is one good place to buy quality boats in Subic almost next door to Vasco's Steak House...
