Thanks Mikey.. You enjoy your holiday too! It's raining at my house so probably not too much celebrating outside. I am going down to the pier to find out if their will be some kind of celebration tonight (their is a US Navy ship in port right now after all).

Howdy Jon,

Wow! Sounds like a good time! Nothing happening here, as far as I know. I don't get out much. Wife's been on the Magic Jack for about 7 hours now. I can finish my book. Take care and remember, fireworks and alcohol don't mix. Good holiday.

Even if there isn't anything happening, I will be having fun shooting pool and drinking ice cold ones while listening to the live band at Pier1.

I've been informed by my Lady that the Philippine-American Friendship day (July 4th) is no longer celebrated since the Arroyo Administration approved a 3 day Ramadan celebration for the Muslims. Seems kind of odd considering what has been contributed to the Philippine Nation by the USA and the Muslim Nations.

Fred

Sorry if this is a little too Political for some but kind of sticks in my craw.

That does it. Let's leave the area and let China swallow the place. And renege on the fighter jets too! That'll show 'em.
