Default cost

I chatted for several months then spent a month in PI with the same woman. Now she is asking for 20,000 peso a month for living exspenses as she is unemployed.Lives in Quezon city/Manilla.Some say that is too much others say its reasonable for living in Manilla.Any opinions?Anyone know the actual cost?I stayed in hotels and ate in restaurants so dont reallley know grocery prices or electric costs, though her rent is 3000p a month.

Agree 100%! There are times when only a very blunt and point blank Answer to a question will do. Unfortunately, this is one of those times.

This girl is not unemployed. Quite the opposite most likely. Almost without a doubt, she is employeed by doing this same thing with you as well as several other unsuspecting guys and you would just be the next in a long line of others. Some women here will do that as a way of support - having several guys at a time that all think they are engaged etc and send money every month till they wise up. The women then just gets another (trusting) guy and continues the same thing. Several of our neighbors are doing that very same thing to guys right now and one of them already has a husband and two children! Another example: My wife's cousin, married and a wonderful woman; owns a travel agency in Angeles City. Inside the agency she also has an internet cafe. At times, the place is filled to overflowing with cute young ladies that are doing that exact same thing with Yahoo messenger etc. Some having 4 or more guys online at the same time and telling them all pretty much the same thing. I've been there time and again and is a common site and occurrence. Get involved with girls here and give any type of support or financial help is like having s*x using a condom = gives you a sense of security while getting screwed! Your odds of winning are far better at a slot machine in a Las Vegas casino.

We are a family of three and live COMFORTABLY on less than half of what this girl is "asking" you for. Or maybe she is supporting an army with that much!!!

Best thing to do is set a policy for yourself; the first time any of them ask for money for any reason (including supposed emergencies etc) drop them like a hot potato and continue the search for one that truly is interested in you for the right reasons.
Don't make the mistake that thousands before you have and then had to learn the hard way. It's not worth it...

Don't be fooled by these kinds of women. Filipinas are 1000-a-penny so you don't need to settle for a gold-digger. P20,000 a month is an obsene amount to ask for! Find yourself a new lady. Trust me it's easier done than said...
Hmmm-great minds think alike-hahaha. Really is true, there are so many here without a doubt. It's amazing though the that because of such poverty so many women do this to stay alive.

I agree with all of them! Do not send her anything, & i mean anything... Im a filipina & it makes me mad when other filipina women to this..we filipinas already has a bad reputation on foreigners eyes..i have a lot of american friends that i met when i worked in Korea for 5 yrs, theyre good people.sometimes they come to me for advice about filipinas theyre dating,& i was always right about them, they were just after my friends money... I hate that.
If that girl really likes you,she will be embarrased to even ask u point blank for money... theres more fishes in the ocean,so dont settle to just one.
