Default Filipina wife holding Canadian Passport

Hi again guys,

Just a few questions if I may:

My wife to be holds Canadian nationality, when we marry I want her to hold UK nationality as well, but I have been told it is also advisable for her to hold Philippine nationality. I know that the British government don't mind you holding dual nationality but can't find anywhere on the Philippine government website about dual nationality. Does anyone know the rules?

With us moving back to Philippines to retire and she doesn't hold Philippine passport will she be subject to the same visa conditions as me even though she was born there?

If she doesn't hold Philippine nationality can she still have a business and property in her name?

Hi Danny,

The first part of your post I know nothing about. But it is advisable for her to hold duel citizenship as that is the only way for her/you to own property/real estate. It also gives you the right after moving here to become a permanent resident which holds down your own visa costs.
Yes, if she no longer holds duel citizenship, she is subject to the same visitors visa rules as you are now.
