Lightbulb Department Of Immigration: Services Upgrade News

The Dept of Immigration is trying to upgrade it's services to help us get things done faster and easier. Looks like a good plan and suggest a read of this news article. Also refer to the Immigration (BI) website at: www.immigration.gov.ph

The days of wearing shorts to the BI are over, at least in Davao City. They are a bunch of hard working folks. Be sure to wear a smile, that goes a long ways.

I think they get super strict now with the dress code.Last time I went there with a friend, they didnt allow this american couple wearing shorts inside the the building. But,its good they're keeping up with their rules.

I agree, if going out, especially to a government office to do business it is important to wear proper clothing and is shows respect for decency as well as to our host country...
