Default Learning Tagalog

Hi all,

Can someone recommend a school or professional private tutor for me to learn tagalog. I have tried the family and friends thing and it never works.
I use to see a flyer in some of the bars ages ago in Angeles for a school, does anyone remember this?

Thanks in advance.

Don't feel bad---I've been here nine years and STILL don't know tagalog! I don't get to the bars so have not seen the flyer. How bout checking at the VFW in Angeles. They may have an idea or two. Otherwise, you might try a public school teacher for lessons. Many work as tutors in their off time.

Hey now that's cool! I'd better have my wife with me if I try any of it as I'd probably learn just enough to get me into trouble. Thanks for the post.

Hi Seram,

Yea-seems that many want to learn the language. Sticking the site at the top would get it more views. I'll have to leave that to the site owner if he want to do that.

Also, thanks for the info on the electric power thing down south and all the photos too. Makes me glad we live where we do-Hahaha.

Gene

I've got the "Tagalog in a Flash" bookmarked in my computer too, but it seems that when you have need for it, you don't have your computer with you. There are some of the Tagalog words that I can't do or have a very hard time with, and some English they can't do. We have had some laughs over our pronunciation. The classic problem for them is "Mc donald's" and there are some of hers that I will never get right.
