Is there any plastering work in NZ? Moved to Aussie but wanna come home :-(

Hey there.I'm hoping someone can hep us.We were living in beautiful NZ and decided to come to WA,which has been great and we do plan to stay here at least another year or two.After a year or two I would like to go back to NZ to live however for this happen we have to have work,is there much plastering work over there now? My husband did have work a few years ago in NZ as a plasterer but as time went by it was getting harder to come by where we were living(due to also living north of Auckland).So we moved to WA which has been nice but I want to come home eventually.If anyone can help who may know about plastering jobs that would be great.Thanks.

Hi - sorry that this is not really a reply but a question but we would love to live in NZ but finding plastering work seems very hard so have been considering WA, wondered if you could let me know how the work situation actually is at present in WA for plasterers and any info on where to live near Perth?

Hi am a chiro in The Netherlands who has lived in NZ for the last 16 years with a friend who is a plasterer in Whitianga I can get his number if that would help. I think the construction work is a bit slow everywhere but in a couple of years might come right again. Blog me or I will just ask for his number and post it. Nice people and they do hire plasterers. cheers thom
