Default Teaching Advice

Hello

I'm new to all this so I apologise if this is in the wrong place.
I am a secondary science (chemistry) teacher and am just in the process of getting my qualifications assessed prior to the big visa push. Is there anyone who would know the best places to start looking for jobs, I am being given conflicting information some people say there are no jobs while others say my subject is still needing teachers. I am going on a location recce in July/Aug with my husband and kids so if anyone has any suggestions as to where to go I would be very pleased to hear from you.

Apparently there's a paper called the 'education gazette' - see if you can get hold of a copy of that.

On locations - have a browse through the previous posts. There are a few discussions about Tauranga/New Plymouth/Hawkes Bay and of course Auckland/Christchurch/Wellington to name but a few.

One great thing with teaching - you won't be forced to stay in the 'big (well, comparatively) 3'.

And July/August is a great time to be looking for work in education, as our school year starts in Jan/Feb so you'll have a bit of time to get sorted!

The only place to find the jobs is here

Education Gazette

It's where I got mine and I notice tonight that mine is being advertised again, I'm outta here!
If you have any teaching questions fire them this way.
