Default New Zealand EOI & OZ PR

Hi Freinds,

I had applied for New Zealand EOI & Australian PR in the same month. Now both got approved. I got my Oz PR & I know I can enter & work NZ based on that. But I am still intrested in getting NZ PR.

I have been invited to apply for NZ PR as my EOI got selected. My question is does it make any difference becuase I got my Oz PR?

Thanks

Hi First of all Congratulations for getting long waited Oz PR and also for NZ EOI!!! However, if you are having Oz PR than you can enter to NZ and also work there. you dont require another visa and can also get NZ PR easily. If you can afford and willing to apply for the NZ application, then again its upon your interest, no worries if you have 2 PRs.

Btw, since you know about EOI, In NZ EOI Online application - In the child section, while completing Child form, it states that,
"Will Name of Child included in your application for residence? Select an option No Yes * ( For each dependent child who will be included in your residence application, please complete a Child supplement Expression of Interest form. Please refer to the Guide under Dependent Children in the section Summary of Terms.")

I didnot understood this point. However, I hope that the child section that creates automatically when you select child=yes for child EOI is the same that is within the same EOI that I have created and not a completely different web page altoghether.

any idea?
Thanks

Pkrish,

For the online EOI, the child supplement form is included with you EOI as soon as you choose YES (that you wish to include your child in your application) and it will give you the option to add more children if you have more than 1 child.

In my opinion, the online EOI is much easier to fill out---especially if you have children.

Hi Chelsea,

Thanks for your answer and quick reply.
Yes, It has child form in the child Section within the same EOI when you select Child=Yes. Yes this section is easy.

Secondly, While entering data in my EOI section, I have two queries -

1) Iam not sure what to write in the section - "Please list all countries, including all countries of citizenship, you have lived in for a total of 12 months or more in the last 10 years. Include all countries where your stay has been broken by any departures. Use the last entry to include the country in which you are currently living but leave the "To" field blank."
- In my case, I am currently transfered to customer's place (another Country) and completing 7 months now. Yet not completed 12months other than home coutry. However, I have travelled 1 shorter period of 3 months in another country, while recently till date Iam living outside of home country (completing now 7 only)

So should I mention only about home country - From Date to To-Date or Is it necessary to add the broken periods of living in another countries till today.

2) Furthermore, I have recieved work experience in similar field after passing my Diploma Engineering for 1 year and then continued joining Bachelor Engineering.
Is this work experience (post diploma) is countable along with my post bachelor work exp?

any suggestions?
Thanks

You would list your home country, date to date, and then the country you are currently in from the date you got there to the present.

You don't need to mention the one you visited for 3 months in the EOI, but if and when it is approved, you will be asked about the countries you've visited for your medical certificate.

You're probably going to need your skills assessed by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority or the registering body for your occupation...most likely NZQA though.

Hi,

I have queries on below points:

F11. Are you claiming points for a qualification in one of the identified future growth areas? Select an option No Yes *
PLEASE NOTE: Do not select 'Yes' unless you are also claiming points for current skilled employment or an offer of skilled employment, in New Zealand, in an identified future growth area in Section E.
If yes, please provide the growth area name, and select the name of the qualification. Select an option Biotechnology Information Communications Technology Creative industries

G4. Please indicate the total number of years of work experience in an identified future growth area. You need to note that work experience in an identified future growth area only qualifies for bonus points if you are also claiming points for current skilled employment or an offer of skilled employment in an identified future growth area.

My Query: I am into Information Communications Technology, But not having offer of employment or nor currently working in NewZealand. but have the above Qualifications and experience that are in above Future Growth Areas. I have Selected = "No" for both the above points...please correct me.. ( dont want to mis the bonus points .

Secondly, Does the number of months of work experience done while doing university education during an education gap (8months) is counted?

And yes I have selected yes for Skills Shortage Areas, because here NZ exp or NZ offer is not mentioned.

cheers
Thanks
