Smile Looking for people who are in Wellington

Hi,
I came to NZ over a year ago. I (early 30s) now live in Island Bay.
I am looking for people to exchange views or just catch up, or skype or e-mail. I would be happy if someone would be interested. Nationality does not matter. I am not really into drinking but conversations and the outdoors.
Would be lovely to hear back from you!
Cheers

Hi there,

I'm not there yet, but the family & I arrive on the 9th February to start our new life. I have a job with Eagle who are in the CBD and start there on the 16th Feb.
Today in the UK day of packing the house has happened and I have booked our flights. It feels very real now.
I'll give you a shout when we are there - I am hoping to live in Island Bay. Currently looking for a shorter term Holiday Bach until we find somewhere longer term to rent and out sea freight arrives.
May speak to you again soon!?

I would suggest you check out: Wellington Events - Fun Events Free Events Make new friends in Wellington, Meet new people in Wellington - MEETin.org
Also, there is the Yahoo group 'New Wellingtonians.' And, if you are American, there's the AWN Home - American Women's Network (but not just for Women) and the NZAA: http://www.nzaa.org.nz/.

Meetin is probably the best group--lots of different people and activities. There's a lot of Americans in the group, but Kiwis and folks from other countries too.
