This new forum is different

I like the people I see contributing to this forum and I like the tone of the interchanges so far. I'll be coming back a lot more. The degree of venom, spite and just plain cheap shots on "that other Mexico (Chapala) forum" is becoming gratuitous and a waste of valuable time. I hope that the best of the other forum(s) check this one out and check in to start a new spirit of cooperation and information sharing.--El Toro

I've never been to this other forum, wherever it may be, because I fournd this one. But if there are a bunch of nasty people on it, what does that say about the expats there? Or is it just a set of people who have nothing to do but *****?

I also have not been on the other Mexico forum. I like this one, though. I have no interest in going to the other forum.

I'm a member of a lot of forums. (yes, I'm a forum addict.) There are always going to be some trolls, unfortunately. So long as all the nice people stick together the trolls get tired and go away. Sort of works best to ignore them though. As my husband says, don't feed the trolls.
