I don't have a smartphone and after reading this, I doubt if I ever will.

TBH thats pretty rare, I use my smartphone loads on the UK its the only way for me to get online as im only back for afew weeks, but at home due to Spains massive charges for PAYG sims I just use it for emails and skype etc and don't think Id survive to well without it.

Don't let a story like this put you off, how ever I don't think I'd ever go for an iPhone, there life span is too short for the prices they charge.
