FORINSTINCTS

by reeeldeeep.

F is for: Forinstincts, the minds Operating System - facts, history, and emotion, combined with future possibilities.
What a concept!

One of our biggest blessings is what I call Forinstincts.
I have no idea if this term is already in use. I’m selfish enough to hope it started with me.
That would be so cool. My wife loves C.S.I., so that probably gave me the idea. I doubt I’m first.

As we become aware of the facts around us, we analyze them, and process them in our minds.
We also use past experiences, along with our emotions, and our set of morals, to reach conclusions and judgments.
As we do so, we also consider what our future might hold.
Of course you already know this if you have ever considered it at all.
All this comes together to form an ‘Operating System’, to use a modern analogy.
This is constantly going on in your mind, even when you sleep.
It is our guide through the maze that is life. Everything we do comes from Forinstincts.

There’s a reason all this happens without you even thinking about it.
Thinking about it can make you dizzy.
Just accept the blessing it is.
If you can’t stop yourself, read on.

Thinking about this process involves breaking it down into smaller components,
(since simpler aspects are easier to comprehend),
and the most minute fragment in it is something called an ‘idea’, (or thought),
which just happen to be so difficult to understand, that the first line for it in my Webster’s Dictionary states
”a transcendent entity that is a real pattern of which existing things are imperfect representations.”
If that sentence doesn’t scare you nothing will.

We usually consider ‘four-letter-words’ to be bad in nature.
Some of them are quite foul.
When used to insult others, they can really hurt;
they cause lots of pain.
Many people who do this are very cold.

If you think of them as rated, on a scale of good versus bad, the other extreme end of that scale is where you will find ‘idea’.
Every idea is a wondrous thing. Some do cause problems, but what doesn’t? Many problems become opportunities.
It’s up to us to have more good ideas than the bad guys, or ‘they’ do. Don’t worry about ‘them’, or what ‘they’ might do.
If you do the ‘right thing’ everything else will work out. The hard part is deciding what is right. Forinstincts helps.

Ideas (thoughts) are what your mind uses to run everything, so they are part of everything there is in your life.
A ‘moment’ is defined as the smallest fragment of time that can be sensed, an instant, no more.
An idea is much smaller.
Every moment contains many thoughts. If your real world is full of sound, sight, et cetera,
created by the software in your mind, ideas would be the binary code.

But they are much more than that. They are the building blocks our mind uses as Forinstincts,
and they are also the conscious thoughts that we are aware of, every new dream and every opinion.
They are every feeling, and every inner-dialogue.
The smallest thing in our life is also the most important.
I like that.

Remember, two wrongs don’t make a right, but three lefts do.
Happy trails, ed.
