Default Getting the best exchange rate?

Currency Index is a UK specialist FX broker - you can use us to get better rates of exchange than your high street bank.

There are no commissions, low transfer charges and our rates can save you up to 4% - so for the cheapest way to send money overseas call us for a free quote and mention EXPATFORUM for preferential rates.

You can also fix exchange rates up to 2 years in advance.

Foreign bank transfers can be expensive if you don't check your rates - please PM me if you have any specific questions and I will try to help.

Hi, this looks to be a useful service that I am keen to explore a little further. I send money to the UK most months and am continually frustrated to find the rates offered by my bank are not even close to those advertised.

regards.

Hi steadyboy, it depends how much you send each month as to whether it is worth you using a currency broker. What is a typical transfer amount?

Thanks,
Robin.

Generally between 500k and 1Mill JPY, but on average 800k JPY. Are these numbers sufficient to warrant using a broker?

Generally you will get about 2% more by using a broker, so yes it should be worth it. Please get in touch through our site if you'd like more info.
Thanks,
Robin.

Thumbs up

No matter where students learn English, native speakers of English are considered by many educational organizations to be integral to the process of teaching English to their students. Fortunately native speakers of English from many countries such as the Japan, South Korea, Germany, Europe, Asia and Russia are pursuing positions teaching English as a second language online English school in growing numbers.
