Another one...South Africa to Dubai - visitor to resident
Hi all
Originally from Pretoria, I have been living in Cape Town for the past five years until my move to Dubai at the beginnng of July. I am in my early thirties, male and the general manager for a small software company here in Dubai. Although I have visited Dubai on and off on business since 2001, being a resident here is very different and takes on a whole new persepctive... Similarly to what seems to be the norm, I would like to meet people outside of my business realm, gather more knowledge about the expat life and do more things outside of work here in Dubai. I look forward to participating in the forum and discussions with all of you.

Another big hello,
Welcome to the forum Pop over to the Dubai board if you have any questions. Last week a few of the "newbies" to Dubai all met up for a drink, and may plan to do so again next month, so pop over to the board, and make yourself known
